About Parking Journey: Car Puzzle
Parking Journey: Car Puzzle is a parking game for people who would rather think than steer. Each level is a crowded car park seen from above, laid out in a tall portrait frame. Every car has a colour and every parking bay has a colour, and your job is to send each car to its matching bay before the timer runs out.
What makes it different from a sliding-block puzzle is that you decide the route. Hold a car, draw the path you want it to take, and it drives along your line. The developer, Jovany Nady, adds the obvious complication: cars get in each other's way, so the order of your moves matters as much as the routes themselves.
How to play Parking Journey
Your first level
The game opens directly on a level with a short tutorial bubble explaining the idea. Tap to continue and the puzzle begins.
Drawing routes
Press and hold a car to select it, then drag to draw its route. Release and the car follows the line. For short moves, tap an empty space and the car will take a direct route there.
Blocked cars
When the car you need is trapped, move whichever car is blocking it. You can park it in an empty space or even in the wrong bay for a moment. As the developer points out, a temporary parking spot is not a mistake if it opens the way for something else.
Chapters
The levels are grouped into 50 chapters, adding more cars, tighter layouts and more blocked paths as you go.
Tips for clearing the car park
- Look before you draw. Work out which car is blocking the most others and free it first.
- Use empty spaces as parking. Moving a car aside is often the fastest route to a solution.
- Draw simple lines. Wiggly routes take longer and can clip other cars.
- Watch the timer. Spend your thinking time early, then move quickly.
- Restart if you are stuck. A fresh look at the layout often reveals the right first move.
Your first chapter
The first chapter introduces the idea slowly, with only a few cars and plenty of space. Use it to practise drawing smooth routes and to get used to the timer. By the end of the chapter you will start to meet layouts where one car blocks another, which is where the real puzzle begins. From then on, a quick look at the whole car park before your first move saves a lot of time.
