About Police Drift Escape
Police Drift Escape is a top-down survival game in which you are the getaway driver and the police are everywhere. There is no road and no traffic, just a wide open surface where you twist and slide while patrol cars pour in from every side. The developer, Lucas Entertainment Studio, describes it as pure arcade chasing, and that is exactly how it plays: you are never more than a second from being boxed in.
The clever part is the handling. Police cars are faster than you but cannot turn as tightly, so the way to survive is to let them close in and then drift away at the last moment. Do it well and two chasers collide behind you, adding to your score.
How to play Police Drift Escape
The first chase
When the game loads, a welcome bonus pops up. Collect it and the chase begins at once. A timer and score sit at the top of the screen, and your cash total is in the corner.
Steering and drifting
Your car keeps moving on its own. On a computer, steer with A and D or the arrow keys; on a touch screen, use the on-screen joystick. Holding a turn makes the car slide, and that slide is how you dodge.
Cash and missions
Bundles of cash appear around the arena. Some are placed in risky spots, so chasing them greedily is a fast way to get caught. Missions such as surviving for 30 seconds appear as you play and pay out extra cash when you complete them.
When it ends
The chase ends when the police catch you. The longer you survive, the more cars join the pursuit and the more crowded the arena gets.
Tips for longer escapes
- Let them get close. A drift only works if the police car is committed to its line.
- Turn across their path. Making two chasers aim at the same spot is the easiest way to cause a crash.
- Keep to open space. Corners of the arena are where you get trapped.
- Skip far-off cash. Money you have to cross the whole arena for is rarely worth it.
- Breathe between waves. Short quiet moments are your chance to reposition.
Your first minute
Use the first few seconds, before many police cars arrive, to get a feel for the steering. Drive a slow circle, notice how far the car slides when you hold a turn and how quickly it straightens up. That knowledge is what lets you judge a last-second escape later, when three patrol cars arrive at once and the gap between them is barely wider than your car.
