About Traffic Racer 3D
Traffic Racer 3D puts you on a long, gently curving highway with cars and pickups strung out ahead. Your job is to slide between them without touching anything. The twist is the control: instead of steering with keys, you drag left or right and the car drifts across the lanes, which makes every overtake feel like a small slide rather than a sharp turn.
The developer, Uk4dee games, keeps the presentation bright and clean, with a tidy garage, a simple timer and distance shown in large numbers at the bottom of the screen. It is one of the quickest games in our collection to understand.
How to play Traffic Racer 3D
The garage
You start in a pale studio where your car sits on a hexagonal platform. Arrows let you browse vehicles, and a panel shows each car's stats. A green Timed button and an orange Endurance button choose the mode.
Timed mode
Timed mode gives you 60 seconds. A short card explains the rules: drive as far as you can, drag left and right to drift through traffic, pass close to other cars for bonus coins, and buy faster cars to go further. Press Drive and the countdown starts.
Near misses
Passing very close to another vehicle without touching it triggers a near-miss bonus. Several in a row build a combo, which multiplies the coins you collect.
Endurance mode and challenges
Endurance is about lasting as long as possible rather than racing the clock, and challenge levels award stars for skilful driving.
After a run
At the end of a run the results screen shows your distance and coins. It may offer to double the coins by watching an advert; that choice is optional.
Tips for longer runs
- Drag smoothly. Short, controlled drags keep the slide predictable.
- Choose your gap early. At top speed there is no time to change your mind.
- Near misses pay, crashes cost. Get close, but never touch.
- Spend on speed and armour. Faster cars cover more distance in 60 seconds, and armour forgives a mistake.
Endurance or Timed?
Timed mode is the best place to start because every run lasts exactly a minute, which makes it easy to compare attempts. Endurance suits players who have already unlocked a tougher car with more armour, because one mistake does not have to end the run. Switching between the two keeps the highway feeling fresh and gives you a reason to try every car in the garage.
Who will enjoy Traffic Racer 3D
It suits anyone with a minute to spare. For a more grounded city run, try Russian Drift, or test your timing in Drift Master. There is plenty more in our drifting games.
