About Turbo Stunt Racing
Turbo Stunt Racing is a bright, fast arcade racer that takes place on tracks floating in the sky. The road is purple, the barriers are giant yellow arches and the scenery is mostly blue sky, so nothing distracts from the racing. Each level drops you onto a short course with a handful of rival cars and asks you to finish first.
Obumo Games, the developer, mixes racing with stunts. Ramps launch your car into the air, traps sit in the middle of the track and some sections narrow to little more than a car's width. Landing cleanly and avoiding obstacles matters as much as raw speed.
How to play Turbo Stunt Racing
Getting started
There is no long menu. After the opening advert, the first level appears with your car on the grid among the rivals, and on-screen buttons labelled Steer and Accelerate show you how to drive.
Controls
On a computer, the arrow keys steer, accelerate and brake. On a phone, tap the on-screen buttons on either side of the screen. Your position is shown in the top left and the level progress bar runs across the top.
Stunts and traps
Ramps send the car into the air. Keep it straight on take-off for a stable landing. Traps and obstacles appear in the middle of the road on later levels, so watch for them as you approach each jump.
Upgrades and new cars
Cash from each level can be spent on upgrades or saved for a new car. Each car has its own handling, so a new purchase is worth a few practice runs.
Tips for first place
- Go for the gap at the start. Rival cars bunch up at the first bend; a clean line past them often settles the race.
- Straighten up before ramps. A crooked take-off leads to a crooked landing.
- Do not fight the barriers. Bouncing off the edge costs more time than a slightly slower line.
- Upgrade acceleration early. Short levels reward a car that gets up to speed quickly.
- Replay a level you nearly won. Track layouts stay the same, so the second attempt is usually easier.
Your first few levels
Level 1 is short and wide, and it is the best place to see how the car behaves on the purple track. Try to stay in the centre, take the yellow arches straight and watch where rival cars bump into each other. By the third or fourth level you will meet tighter sections, and the habits you learned early make a real difference.
Who will enjoy Turbo Stunt Racing
This is a good choice for younger players and anyone who likes quick, cheerful races. For a calmer challenge, try Tiny Cars, or for jumps with physics, play Hill Climber. Plenty more await in our racing games.
