About Formula Apex Rush
Formula Apex Rush is an open-wheel racing game that treats a season like a world tour. You begin by entering the tour, choosing a destination and then a discipline: a quick sprint, a full Grand Prix, a street event, a night race or a final. Each destination has its own circuit, such as the Coastline Circuit at Ocean Mirage, where the track runs along a palm-lined seafront at sunset.
It is made by Breymantech, the studio behind Furious GT Drift, and it shares their polished presentation. The race view sits behind your red car, with your speed, position, lap time and an ERS meter laid out across the top of the screen.
How to play Formula Apex Rush
Entering the tour
From the title screen, choose Enter the Tour. The tour screen lists destinations on the left and disciplines underneath. On the right you can see the selected car, its trophy room and Race Now, plus Garage and Upgrades.
Controls
Accelerate with W or the Up arrow and brake with S or the Down arrow. Use A and D, or the Left and Right arrow keys, to steer. ERS gives a temporary speed boost when you need it.
The race
You start in the pack and need to work your way forward. Position and lap count are shown at the top. Leaving the track onto grass or run-off areas slows the car down sharply, so precise driving pays off more than aggression.
Credits and upgrades
Every race earns credits. Spend them in the garage on performance improvements, which become important as the championship gets more competitive.
Tips for reaching the podium
- Brake in a straight line. Turning and braking at once unsettles the car.
- Save ERS for straights. A boost into a corner sends you onto the grass.
- Overtake on corner exits. Getting on the power early is the cleanest way past.
- Stay on the tarmac. Grass costs more time than any line you could gain.
- Upgrade braking early. Later the cars get faster, but braking zones stay the same length.
Choosing a discipline
Sprints are short and suit learning a new circuit. Grand Prix races are longer, so consistent laps matter more than one perfect corner. Street and night races narrow the track and reduce visibility, which rewards patience. Finals are the hardest test, best saved until your car has a few upgrades. Whichever you choose, the trophy room on the tour screen keeps a record of your best results.
