About E-Rickshaw Simulator

E-Rickshaw Simulator is a gentle passenger-transport game built around an unusual vehicle: the electric rickshaw. Common in South Asian cities, it is a small three-wheeler with a canopy and bench seats behind the driver. In the game, you take one through a colourful town of pastel houses, wide roads and busy junctions, carrying passengers to homes, schools, hospitals, museums, hotels, offices and shopping areas.

The developer, Instant Games Studio, structures the game around short missions. Each one opens with a card that tells you what to do, a minimap in the corner shows the route and a distance indicator counts down to the next stop.

How to play E-Rickshaw Simulator

Getting started

The title screen shows a purple rickshaw on a suburban street and a Play button. The next screen is the shop, where your first e-rickshaw is already owned. Press Go to start the first mission.

Missions

Mission 1, the Morning Pickup, asks you to collect passengers from their homes and drop them off at a shopping complex. Press OK on the briefing and the mission begins. The distance to the next stop is shown at the top left, along with the rickshaw's health.

Controls

Accelerate with W or the Up arrow, brake or reverse with S or Down, and steer with A and D or Left and Right. On a phone, on-screen pedals and buttons are used. A speedometer sits in the bottom right.

Health and money

Hitting pedestrians, vehicles or obstacles reduces your health or fails the mission. Completing missions earns money, which unlocks new e-rickshaws in the shop.

Tips for happy passengers

  • Follow the minimap. It shows the next turn well before you reach it.
  • Slow down at stops. Pull up gently so passengers can board.
  • Watch for pedestrians. Town streets have people crossing.
  • Take corners slowly. A three-wheeler is less stable than a car.
  • Keep an eye on health. It is easier to drive carefully than to recover from a damaged rickshaw.

Your first mission

The Morning Pickup is a gentle start. Follow the distance indicator to the first house, stop beside it and let the passenger board, then head for the next. Driving slowly costs very little time on these early missions, and it helps you learn how the three-wheeler leans on corners.

Unlocking new rickshaws

The shop opens with one owned e-rickshaw. Money from missions buys others with different looks, so finishing each mission cleanly is the quickest way to fill the garage.
