About Drive Quest

Drive Quest is an open-world driving game that gives you a car, a big map and no fixed route. You start in a yellow sports coupe on a paved boulevard between city blocks, with a minimap in the top corner and a speedometer in the other. From there you can head anywhere: between cities, along highways, down to the ports or off the beaten track to find hidden areas.

The developer, Tridy Games, scatters challenges across the world for when you want a goal. Drifting, stunts and speed tests sit alongside the free exploration, and a garage of 35 customisable vehicles gives you a reason to keep coming back.

How to play Drive Quest

The first minute

After the opening advert, a keyboard overlay appears showing the controls. Close it with the cross at the top right and you are driving straight away. There is no menu to work through first.

Controls

Steer and drive with W, A, S and D or the arrow keys. Space is the handbrake and C changes the camera position. On a phone, on-screen controls replace the keyboard.

Exploring

The minimap shows the roads around you. Follow the main routes to move between areas quickly, or turn off them to look for hidden spots. The map includes cities, highways and ports.

Challenges and cars

Challenges such as drift zones, stunt ramps and speed tests appear around the world. Taking them on earns rewards towards the 35 vehicles, each of which can be customised.

Tips for exploring

  • Use the handbrake for tight turns. A quick tap swings the car round city corners.
  • Switch camera on highways. A further view helps at high speed.
  • Follow the minimap to new areas. Unexplored roads often lead to challenges.
  • Try drift zones in a light car. Smaller cars slide more willingly.
  • Take it slow at first. The world is big, and there is no clock running.

Your first ten minutes

A good first session is to pick one direction and follow the main road until it reaches a new area. Watch the minimap for side roads and anything unusual, and stop to try any challenge you come across. You will learn the handling, see how big the world is and earn your first rewards without any pressure.

A game for all ages

There is no combat or violence; it is driving and exploring, with stunts and drifting as optional challenges. That makes it a relaxed choice for players of any age who simply enjoy driving.

Who will enjoy Drive Quest

It suits players who like freedom and exploring. For a sandbox with crash physics and a moon map, try Police Chase Simulator, or for a colourful open world with puzzle pieces, play Driverz Ed. See all our driving games.
