About Super Traffic Racer
Super Traffic Racer is an endless highway racing game. There is no finish line and no rival grid: just you, a fast car and a motorway full of ordinary traffic that does not care how quickly you want to go. Every run lasts until your first big crash, and the further you get, the more cash you take home.
That cash is the heart of the game. Spend it on upgrades to make your current car quicker and more responsive, or save up for a new car altogether. Better cars let you run faster for longer, which earns more cash, which buys better cars. It is a loop that makes "one more run" very hard to resist, and global leaderboards add an extra reason to push your best score.
How to play Super Traffic Racer
Controls
On a keyboard, use the arrow keys: Left and Right to change lanes, Up to go faster and Down to slow down. On a phone or tablet, use the touch controls shown on screen.
Reading the traffic
Cars, vans and lorries travel at different speeds and sometimes change lanes. Big vehicles hide what is in front of them, so be careful about sweeping past a truck into a lane you cannot see.
Earning and spending
Your earnings grow with distance and with how fast you drive. After each run, visit the garage to upgrade or to buy a new car. A quicker, more agile car gives you more time to react, which is what keeps long runs alive.
Tips for longer runs
- Use all the lanes. Staying in one lane traps you behind slow traffic; keep moving to the clearest path.
- Brake to escape a trap. When every lane is blocked, a quick touch of the brake opens a gap that steering alone cannot.
- Never cut across a truck's nose. Large vehicles hide cars in the next lane.
- Upgrade handling as well as speed. Top speed means little if the car cannot change lanes quickly enough.
- Chase distance, not risk. A steady, clean run usually earns more than a short, reckless one.
Endless racing at its best
Endless racers suit browser play because each run is self-contained. You can have a two-minute session or an hour-long attempt at the leaderboard, and your upgrades carry over either way. The difficulty also grows naturally with your skill: the faster you choose to drive, the less time you have to react, so you set your own challenge on every run.
